With the countless end-of-winter sales flooding our inboxes, it’s easy to get distracted from reality: we still have another couple of months in this weather. Well, at least in Wisconsin.
It’s normally at this point during the year where I feel like I’ve worn my entire winter wardrobe. I make excuses and lists of things I NEED and go on a huge shopping spree. Not this year! Instead, I’m challenging myself to push past the typical seasonality of my wardrobe and find new ways to incorporate spring and summer pieces into the remainder of this winter season.
I’m currently obsessed with styling this white lace dress. Paired with sheer tights and a black moto jacket, it’s perfect for a date night. The x-straps on this dress accent the necklace and floral lace of the mini shift dress.
It was a summer steal from Nordstrom Rack and I’m happy to say it’s been seeing a lot sun (of should I say snow) this winter. The best part is its flexibility in pairing it with other jackets and tights. I’m trying it with a brown suede jacket next.
How do you incorporate your “out of season” pieces?
